Villa Arbanija is located on Ciovo Island, 10 minutes from the historic town of Trogir. A beautiful medieval town, Trogir is a bustling and pretty town, close to Split and an inspiring place to visit. Villa Arbanija enjoys a prime spot in the village of Arbanija - just across the main road, is the white pebbly beach, not 10 metres away - swimming, sunbathing, strolling, splashing about - it's all on your doorstep…Other, quieter beaches, away from the road are nearby.
A general grocery store is within easy walking distance and restaurants are less than a kilometre away. A wider selection of the more essential shops are around 10 minutes drive away in Trogir. Why not pay a visit to the market in Trogir and bring back some fresh fish and vegetables to cook on the mediterranean style BBQ!
A visit to Trogir is a must - take an evening walk through tiny streets and squares during the Trogir Summer Festival where you can enjoy Classical concerts in the cathedral, or Jazz nights on Radovan square. If you want to explore further a field then you can take a take a ferry boat to a nearby island, visit Krka National Park for the day or head to split…But if rest and relaxation is what you are after, just arrive at the villa and begin to unwind…
In Arbanija is the 15th century fortified Dominican monastery of St Cross (Sv. Kriza) - a fascinating half day excursion without having to go too far. All in all, this is a delightful place to spend a holiday. The villa can either be rented as a whole or as 2 separate apartments.
